La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cleveland Airport West

Prices were the best in town and next to all of the restaurants and the mall. A quick 5 minute drive to the airport.

Many updates from when I was there a while back. Close to shopping and eateries. Breakfast was good also: Everything was nice and clean.They even have charging stations added for your electric cars .

The full beds were good and a nice place to lay our heads for the night. The nightstand had a phone and an alarm clock on it, and even electric plugs. However, there was no power supply behind it. The wires were sticking out of the wall. The bathroom was pretty old and run down.

The hotel was in poor condition. The lobby, elevators and common areas were not air conditioned other than a portable unit in the lobby. Our shower did not work and the sink was clogged. When we reported the problem the staff was rude and dismissive. Beds were uncomfortable and small. There are lots of hotels in the area. Don’t choose this one.

After arriving in town at 1:00 AM, I was grateful to find a hotel at all, after a long day of traveling. It was clean enough (except for what appeared to be blood spots on the bathroom walls) and functional. It was also in a nice area of town.— but several things really missed the mark. First, the “breakfast” offered was disappointing and honestly should be an embarrassment to the management. The selection consisted of stale-looking q bagels, plain white bread, and sausage. I didn’t even bother checking the other chafer. As a vegan, there was nothing available for me — not even a piece of fruit. When I arrived, I was told that if I needed fresh towels, I’d have to come down and get them myself. No one ever entered my room for housekeeping, which makes me think they only clean after checkout. Charging $2 for a bottle of water feels excessive, especially when many hotels offer this as a basic courtesy. For the amount guests pay, a small gesture like complimentary water would go a long way. To top it off, I asked for an envelope so I could leave a tip for the shuttle driver — and the front desk handed me a used, ratty envelope. That moment really summed up the lack of attention to guest service and hospitality throughout my stay. Lastly, the front desk service was underwhelming. Every time I approached the staff — regardless of the shift — I felt like I was inconveniencing them. (Except for the shuttle driver) Not exactly the standard you’d expect in the hospitality industry. I appreciated having a place to crash late at night, but basic service, courtesy, and guest comfort should still be a priority. Unfortunately, this hotel missed the mark.
